Calling all: nursing & social work students, future policymakers, church members, dreamers, athletes, and more...
This January, change lives.
What will I be doing?
You will be changing lives. This is a unique opportunity to get out into your community and create real, lasting impact. You will engage in outreach efforts and provide uninsured people with important information about health care resources.
We are currently in discussion with deans and professors at universities across Alabama to award class credit for signing onto our program.
You can volunteer in two ways:
Connectors: Connectors connect people to information and resources. They are on the front lines at elementary schools, barber shops, and churches explaining to others where to go in their city or town to learn more and make the right decision for their family.
Catalysts: Catalysts work with hospitals and health organizations to walk citizens through their healthcare options. They require an additional level of training as mandated by the government.
We are also looking for captains to organize these groups.
